@sp The Popcorn Computer looks interesting, but you could build something similar with a Raspberry Pi and small display. More importantly, what could I use it for???
@Alligator What distinguishes it from other hacky contraptions is its portability, battery life and its significant support for LoRaWAN. Usage could range from say using it to troubleshoot your homeserver on one end to maintaining your IoT netwoks. It’s actually nudged me to explore The Things Network (https://www.thethingsnetwork.org/) deeper.
@sp I’ve never built anything with LoRaWAN. I’ll have to research it, and the Thing Network further. Interesting!
@sp LoRaWAN looks really interesting. Now I just need to come up with some ideas how I can use it. I’ve been having fun reading up on The Things Network.
@Alligator I know, right! I love that they have those communities which you can be part of. Nothing to beat Tinkering with a bunch of like-minded folks.
